I had always wanted a 1600 and bought my first in the christmas of 2000..the car was a nice little beast and served me well for 5 months..i got the hunger for power and decided it was time for a full make-over of the car. i stripped the car to pieces, removed the engine and started grinding it back to bare metal. BIG MISTAKE!..this car had the most bog i have EVER seen. we believe i was not patches up, but the rear end was lowered into a large tub of putty. after losing sight of the project i saw a advert in OZDAT "P510 Two Door FJ20, Microtect, Bla Bla..that got my attention. i rang the fella and arranged a time to go and have a look. it was just what i was looking for and i soon made an offer which he grudgingly accepted and i towed the car home. i was then the new owner of a Datsun P510 2 Door. this was what i was after as all the big dollars had been spent by the previous owners and i could just drive the thing and enjoy it.

thats a brief history of how i came to own the car. no its not for sale. sorry fellas
